Cajun is a London-born artist with an impressive fashion background, having studied fashion design in London and Milan and having worked for Vivian Westwood amongst others. Gordon takes inspiration from street and pop art fusing it with fine art, to question beliefs between religion, war beauty, destruction and art. His art is simultaneously at once uplifting and damning a salvation for a godless generation. Updating old masterpieces and presenting them in a new way has always been goujons prerogative, where he expertly manages the balance between old and contemporary. From goujons ever popular school series, the artist uses advanced printing techniques to create a contemporary art work with a vanitas theme.
The above mentioned Art was used as cover art for a music album.

“No one but death shall part us”. Gjoen.
KHAOS
Gjoen's art is about rediscovery, taking things from the past and renewing them for the contemporary market. Breathing fresh air into dusty old paintings found in the far corners of a museum or lending a sense of beauty and grace to typically powerful, even dangerous objects, Gjoen’s work invites a second look.
“I'd Rather Be Happy Than Dignified”depicts a Baroque style portrait of a woman, clothed in rich attire, exploring the interaction between power and fragility. Over her face, Gjoen has scrawled childish clown features in black ink. A modern day homage to Marcel Duchamp’s Mona Lisa, the artist captures the irony of the art-world, where Gjoen in his own unique style finishes off the piece with a solid salmon pink and blue to create a more modern piece.
